Registered FBO users can:
- Set up search agents

- Add opportunities to a watched list (similar to a favorites list)
- Review documents associated with the opportunity
With FBO, vendors can:
- Add themselves to a contract’s Interested Vendor’s List, which lets other vendors know that they’re interested in — or believe they can fulfill the terms of — this contract.
- Request explicit access to view controlled, unclassified packages with explicit access designation.
- Respond electronically to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs directly through the web site, when a buyer has enabled this method of response.
Government Buyers and/or properly registered government contracts, once registered in FBO, can:
- Create, maintain, and update a buyer profile
- Create, modify/amend, or cancel an Opportunity Notice
- Manage document package content, and vendor accessibility to package documents
- Upload non-sensitive documents (and attach existing controlled, unclassified documents to notices)
- Receive and electronically evaluate vendor proposals, quotes, and information
- Create non-FBO solicitation links to packages not tied to FBO solicitations
Benefits of Registering
You don’t have to register to search for opportunities on FedBizOpps.com, but registering lets you:
- Set up search agents and a watch list
- Access and review information not made available to unregistered viewers, such as documentation accompanying a solicitation.
- Submit an electronic bid
