Beware of lifetime SAM Registration Programs

US Federal Contractor Registration has been receiving a number of calls and emails about scammers unlawfully reaching out to our clients pretending to be with our firm and suggesting they purchase 5 year, 10 year and even Lifetime SAM registration programs. On behalf of US Federal Contractor Registration we cannot stress enough that your business mark these messages as spam.  The SAM.gov Registration Companies are not affiliated with the Government and are purely trying to take as much money from companies as possible.

SAM Registrations can only be offered on a year-by-year basis because the General Services Administration (GSA) updates its existing account registration rules and regulations at least once a year. Due to these constant updates, every registration must be manually updated in order to properly correspond with the database. Each year the GSA includes more technical questions to the registration that require many updates to a firm’s SAM registration.  Based on this information, firms cannot sell a long-term SAM registration service that has a set-it-and-forget-it policy.

These firms that try to trick you into purchasing 5 year, 10 year and Lifetime SAM registration programs are not in this business of helping vendors win government contracts. The majority of these businesses do not provide an actual physical address listed in their emails.

Please use your best judgement when these spam emails reach out to you. In the case a spam firm reaches out to you offering a 5 year, 10 year, or a Lifetime SAM Registration program, please forward it to scam@usfcrgov.com, so the authorities can be made aware.

We thank you for your understanding and value your continued business.

Sincerely,

Eric Knellinger

President of US Federal Contractor Registration
