Even as the federal government dusts itself off from the recent shutdown federal agencies are already gearing up for one of the biggest contracting growths in over a decade. According to a new analysis by the Deltek report, the federal government is showing a 74% increase from the $92 billion spent in 2013 from the top 20 contracting opportunities. The Deltek report is estimating over $160 billion generated from just these 20 contracts that will begin rolling out this January. In fact, the DoD over the spending 73% of the projected $160 billion (roughly $118 billion) starting the beginning of the 2014 fiscal year on premiere GWAC contracts.
