President Obama this past week spoke to his staff about correcting issues that have slowed down government procedures. These procedures that President Obama referred to include using newly designed technology to deliver better services and ultimately save the government money. One of his recent efforts has included hiring Sylvia Burwell as the new Office of Management and Budget Director. Her job will be to make large strides in modernizing the government delivery process to make sure contractors are awarded funds easily and efficiently. In a recent meeting, President Obama told his cabinet members that there are three goals that need to be facilitated. These three goals are to ensure a better and faster delivery service of government goods, reduce waste and fraud, and provide better data to help business owners solve problems, receive more work, and hire more people.
In an effort to modernize government marketing,GovKinex, a division of US Federal
Contractor Registration, has developed a government-formatted website template designed to help businesses reach procurement officers. What makes the design of the government-formatted template so innovative is that it was constructed to bypass government firewalls and spyware. US Federal Contractor Registration’s website development operation GovKinex has developed the government-formatted website package that works hand in hand with President Obama’s goals. Best of all, every GovKinex website is mobile ready for iPhone and Android compatibility. This will make it possible for government contractors to reach procurement officers on any available operating platform, no matter what the service provider is used by the device. This also allows businesses to market themselves directly to federal buyers. This service is a must have in today’s federal marketplace.
