DUNS = Dun & Bradstreet (Business code/credit rating)

CAGE = Commercial and Government Entity Code (SAM registration & CAGE are what the government uses to pay your business)

NCAGE =NATO Commercial and Government Entity (International CAGE codes)

NAICS = NorthAmerican Industry Classification System (code that represents a product or service)

CCR = Central Contractor Registration (replaced by SAM) ccr.gov

ORCA = Online Representation & Certifications Application (incorporated into SAM as Reps & Certs)

FBO = Federal Business Opportunities (Where to find contracts the government sets for bid) fbo.gov

DSBS = Dynamic Small Business Search (How procurement officers find your business) dsbs.gov

FPDS = Federal Procurement Data System = (previously awarded government contracts) fpds.gov

FAR = Federal Acquisition Regulation (2,000 page regulation manual for reps and certs)

FEMA = Federal Emergency Management Agency (Federal emergency work)

NSN = National Stock Number (product codes for agency organization and filing)

FSC = Federal Supply Classification (replaced by NSN)

ARRA = American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (supplies more contracts for small business)

PSC = Product Service Code (rarely used as product code)

MPIN = Marketing Partner Identification Number (Grant supply number)

NPIN = NATO Partner Identification Number (used for exporting supplies)

FIA = Freedom of Information Act

HUBZone = Historically Underutilized Business Zone

USFCR = US Federal Contractor Registration

SBA = Small Business Administration

GSA = General Services Administration
