Last night, the White House hosted Blues Night as a part of Black History Month – featuring legends such as B.B. King and Mick Jagger. The event ended with an ensemble performance of “Sweet Home Chigago” – with the President belting out a few lines at Jagger’s urging.
This is not the first time Obama has sung for the crowd. During an event at the Apollo Theatre last month, the President sang a little of Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together”.
The full Blues Night performance will be broadcast on PBS February 27th.
